Don’t Take Each Other For Granted

Such a beautiful yet heartbreaking tribute to Dave Goldberg from Sheryl Sandberg:
It reminds us of what, of course, we all know, that life can change so unexpectedly in an instant and that we must live our lives conscious of that fact. We mustn’t be morose, we mustn’t let that awareness depress us…on the contrary, we must react to that awareness by living life to the max, by spending as much quality time as we can with our loved ones and we must never take our loved ones for granted. We must always tell our loved ones how much we love them and how much we appreciate them, how deeply they affect our lives and how appreciative, thankful and grateful we are to them for everything they do for us.

I remember when I used to give my late grandmother a kiss, I didn’t just do it as a matter of habit but I did it very consciously, I always made sure that I ‘felt’ the kiss, that it ‘registered’ in my brain so that I would always remember it, so that I would be able to connect to her and feel the kisses after she passed away…and I do!

We mustn’t take our loved ones for granted. Love more, express feelings more, do more, show more, say more, kiss more, hug – no, squeeze – more. Always be aware that the lights could go out at any moment and use that awareness to ensure that if the worst does happen G-d Forbid, you’ll get some comfort from knowing that you really loved, that you showed it, that you were loved and that you maximised your time together.

Hi! I realize this is sort of off-topic however I had to ask.
Does running a well-established blog such as yours take a large amount of work?
I am completely new to operating a blog however I
do write in my journal daily. I’d like to start
a blog so I can share my experience and views online.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions or tips for
    new aspiring blog owners. Thankyou!

You can put a little time into it or a lot. I put in quite a lot of time. I tend to spend most of my spare time on it. Good luck.

I always think like this, probably too much sometimes as it can make you quite sad. When you are young you never think so deeply and in a way this is exactly how it should be…….this is life and all it’s journeys and experiences which change how you feel as you grow older…..oh to stay young without these thoughts. Love you darling.Mummy.xxxxxx
