Wow! This article made me cry:

When Yigal Amir shot and killed Prime Minister Rabin, he shot and killed an inordinate amount of Israelis and Palestinians. He shot and killed that unique moment and opportunity, unique up to that point in the history of the State of Israel, that unique moment and opportunity for peace. There was an alignment of the stars. Will we get another opportunity? I really don’t know – in my mind, less than a 50:50 chance. Zero chance with Bibi, Abbas and Obama at their respective helms. There has to be mutual respect and trust, a genuine desire, on the part of the Palestinians, for us to be able to live in peace, with security, and on our part for the Palestinians to live in their own state, at peace, and with security.
It’s a jigsaw and we need all the pieces in place. Now, we open the box to pour the jigsaw pieces onto the floor, we want to complete the jigsaw but we can’t – not because it’s too difficult but because some of the pieces are missing, they just aren’t in the box. Tragically, with only some of the pieces, it’s impossible to complete the jigsaw and, in place of the missing pieces, blood will continue to swirl.
